Sams Club’s “accidental” indian domain

2008 December 4
by John

I walked into my local Sams Club today and saw this HUGE banner sprawled across the top of the entry way.

You know what it showed?

LOL, I don’t think it was their intention…

News Alert: Now, domainers and indians confused everywhere!

This is funny. Those who are not in the domain business, they probably don’t know .in is a ccTLD. When most people think of websites, .com, .net and .org come to their minds.

Thats for sure. But what makes it funny is only domainers see stuff like that, even though the public is oblivious to it :)

I still remember telling some friends about .ME… lol. I swear… people are oblivious to every tld other than com, net, and org… at least those surrounding me!

Yeah us domainers only seem to ever notice these things everyone else thinks were crazy!
